Thank you for joining us for jazz jam!
We are so thrilled you joined us for this great night in support of the Prince Edward County Jazz Festival. We had a blast!
Thanks to Norah and Christopher Rogers and Waring House for hosting this event. As long-time Jazz Festival sponsors, they have been great friends and supporters to Jazz and the Arts in Prince Edward County.
We would also like to extend our thanks to The Brian Legere Quartet, Dan Douglas, A.J. Stewart, Lenni Stewart, and Gord Sheard for taking us through a wonderful night of tunes, and Alfie Latanski and crew for making everyone sound even more incredible!
And thank you to all of you who came and supported this event!
2023 was a year of challenge and change for the festival, with smaller audiences due to difficult economic times and increased competition. The Prince Edward County Jazz Festival is a not-for-profit, charitable organization and relies on – and appreciates – the support we get from our local jazz aficionados, great sponsors and longtime concert attendees.
Thank you.

Introducing our new artistic director!
The Prince Edward County Jazz Festival is so thrilled to introduce our new Artistic Director for the 2024 Festival, Sarah Kim Turnbull!
Sarah Kim Turnbull is an artist, arts manager and promoter. She served as the Artistic Director of the TD Markham Jazz Festival from 2014 to 2022 and as the Executive Director of Euphonia, Toronto’s indie classical orchestra, from 2016 to 2019. She is currently part of the curatorial team for Cultivate, a festival of food and drink in Port Hope, Ontario.
Prior to her work as an AD, Sarah Kim owned and operated an independent, boutique booking agency specializing in Canadian and European tours. She has represented artists including Elizabeth Shepherd, Terra Hazelton, Jane Bunnett, Michael Occhipinti, Jadea Kelly and Suzie Ungerleider, among others. She is the driving force behind numerous international collaborations including the Canadian presentation of Isreali pianist and composer, Omer Klein, the Canadian debut of pianist and trumpeter, Sebastian Studnitzky (2018 winner of Germany’s ECHO award) and performances in collaboration with the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra.
Her exploration in projection art and mapping began with a practice in collage art. From scissors and diced magazines, the work evolved to large-scale projections for live performances. As a projection artist, Sarah Kim has performed with Dr. Janowitz, The Great Lake Swimmers, Carlo and Euphonia.
